House in Kozin: A Masurian gem
A beautiful house, Kozin in Masuria and direct access to the lake are all keys to success.
One of the favourite things about my job is being able to show you the most beautiful apartments and houses I can find. Recently I was on business in Kozin in the Masuria region which is home to the property this post is dedicated to.
Where is Kozin?
Kozin is a tiny village on the Jagodne lake, located some 13 km from Giżycko and 20 km from Mikołajki. Founded in 1554, 9 years ago the village had a population of only 107 people. The location guarantees peace and quiet and is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to commune with the Masuria nature.
The plot
The plot on which the houses (yes, there is more than one!) are erected on spans an area of nearly 5,000 m2, which is quite a lot. However, its size is not the greatest merit of the plot but the fact that it is located directly on the shore of the lake and offers access to a marina accommodating 5 boats and a pier.
The houses
There are two houses on the plot. The first has an area of over 90 m2 which house a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, a dining room, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a toilet and a huge terrace. Owing to the large glazed windows, the house is incredibly sunny, and it overlooks the beautiful Jagodne lake. All rooms are air-conditioned, which is crucial given the hotter and hotter summers. Moreover, the house is beautifully finished and furnished with top quality materials and appliances.
The building is connected with the other house, which has 5 bedrooms and could easily be used as a bed and breakfast facility, via a special walkway.
