Łomianki: green and close to the city
Łomianki is one of the younger towns around Warsaw – it officially received municipal rights only 30 years ago. However, it has been rapidly expanding since then and its residents mostly appreciate its closeness to Warsaw (only 16 km), numerous leisure areas (walking routes, cycling paths and cross-country skiing routes), as well the proximity of the Kampinos forest. Another merit of the location is Galeria Łomianki shopping centre offering a wide range of food and fashion stores and service outlets. Everything you need within a stone’s throw, what more do you need?
The thing that draws many people to Łomianki is its relatively small size. There is primarily single-family housing there and most buildings are erected on individual plots. This means that the houses are not too close to one another and privacy is guaranteed.
