About Komorów

Komorów is one of the Warsaw suburban regions that in recent years has been increasingly popular among house hunters with thicker wallets.

The first mention of Komorów dates back to the first half of the 15th century and it was found in Mazovian court books. For the most part of its history, it was a farming village belonging to the estate passed on generation to generation.

The halcyon years of the popularity of Komorów is the inter-war period. This was when the village was intersected by a railway and it earned the title of “Komorów garden town”. The name stuck and Komorów became the home of many famous and respected members of the inter-war elites. This is where Maria Dąbrowska wrote many of her books.

Today, Komorów is home to more and more modern and luxurious houses. The village draws house hunters with its prestigious, park-like nature and a good location.

Palace-like house

The house I want to tell you about is located at approx. 2.5 km from the village centre, near Pęcice. It is erected on a 1-ha plot which comprises two separate plots. Today, the space is occupied by a garden but owing to both plots having construction permits, there is the option of developing the garden part in the future by constructing e.g. a swimming pool or tennis court.

The house itself spans an area of nearly 500 m2. It was erected in 2014 and although inside it resembles a palace, it was fitted with all required modern amenities and systems. The interior has a great design and is very functional. One of the greatest merits of the property is the impressive hallways with marble stairs and wrought-iron bannisters – this is where all the walkways to other parts of the house meet. The house has three levels and there are 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a wine cellar, library and bar, a living room with a dining room and a large kitchen, storage room and walk-in wardrobe inside.

The price tag? PLN 6,900,000.
