A unique apartment in the Kazimierz district in Kraków
I do not know a single person who does not like Kraków. Even the residents of Warsaw admit that the former royal town upon the Vistula river is a highly interesting and beautiful city. The inimitable atmosphere of Kazimierz, the well-preserved Old Town, the green circular Planty park, and the numerous cultural and artistic events attract tourists and investors to the city on a regular basis.
A visit to Kraków always puts a smile on my face. Despite being originally from the Tricity and the fact that I love seaside towns the most, the capital of the Lesser Poland region never ceases to amaze me. The city lives to its own rhythm, different to the fast pace of life of Warsaw or the business of seaside Gdańsk. This is the reason why, when my company came across a proposal to represent exclusively the owner of an apartment in Kazimierz intended for sale, I did not hesitate one minute before accepting it.
The district of Kazimierz is a special place to me. The former Jewish district is full of magic and energy you would be hard pressed to find elsewhere. Irrespective of the season of the year, the area is always filled with tourists both from Poland and abroad. More often than ever this part of the city is also at the centre of attention of investors looking for interesting properties. Without a doubt, the apartment in the Kazimierz Paradise property at Skawińska street is one such gem. Kazimierz Paradise is a tenement under the care of the historical conservator that had undergone a complete renovation in 2010.
The first thing that caught my eye in the property was the very large terrace and an incredible view of the Wawel Castle and the Kraków Old Town. This is absolutely unique in a city like Kraków, namely with such dense developments.
The apartment itself is 225 square metres of luxury and sophistication. It houses a large living room with a kitchenette fitted with high-end appliances (Miele), four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sauna and a storage space. The apartment is air-conditioned and underfloor heating is installed in parts of the premises. The floors are made of exotic wood and stone.
There are three parking places in the underground garage assigned to the apartment as is an external storage room.
The price? It is more than attractive – only PLN 4,700,000.
