Polish luxury brands
There are several Polish brands that hold such a high standard that they can be called luxury without any doubt.
The Independence Day is behind us, but the long weekend is still around. I thought I’d give you a list of 5 Polish brands, which are considered luxurious by most of our compatriots. Although we don’t (yet) have brands of international fame, in our local backyard there are companies famous for the exclusivity of their products or services.
Apart
Recently the jewellery tycoon has been associated by many of us mainly with the “long and beautiful” Christmas TV ad, but Apart is above all a unique brand that has been making history for over 40 years. Its founders – brothers Adam and Piotr Rączyński – started from a small jewellery workshop, and today they are the industry leader. Apart sells its own jewellery and that of other brands, but to me it counts most as a distributor of top-shelf watches.
Irena Eris
The empress of Polish cosmetics, Dr Irena Szołomicka-Orfinger, better known as Dr Irena Eris also started her business nearly 40 years ago. As a perfectly educated pharmacist, from the very beginning she created the highest quality creams and cosmetics, which her husband and partner distributed in shops. Today, the company produces cosmetics (also for men), has a research laboratory, exclusive spa hotels and sponsors women’s golf.
La Mania
La Mania, founded by Joanna Przetakiewicz, is a fashion proposition for self-conscious women – independent, ambitious and passionate; who know and highlight their strengths. The highest quality materials, excellent sewing facilities, refined designs and attention to top finishing are the hallmarks of the brand. Interesting fact: the company declares that 95% of its collections are made in Poland.
Sunreef Yachts
I have written about this brand several times, so just to remind you, a few words about this brand. Founded by Francis Lapp, the Sunreef Yachts shipyard is a world leader in the design and construction of sailing and motor catamarans, as well as custom-made superyachts. Sunreef Yachts designers focus on luxury and space. On these boats every detail is taken care of, both in terms of usability and style, as well as safety. Innovative design, great performance, low fuel consumption and functional space for the most demanding.
Kuo’s
Kuo’s is a unique spa in the city centre that allows you to catch your breath and gives you solace. Kuo’s offers face and body treatments, as well as some aesthetic medicine procedures and personalised treatments. It is undoubtedly for those who expect the best cosmetics and the highest level of service.
