Cannes Yachting Festival: as always, the best event for boat enthusiasts
As every year, I admired the most beautiful motor boats and sailboats during the Cannes Yachting Festival 2021, which ended a week ago.
Cannes Yachting Festival 2021 is behind us, so – like every year – it’s time for a small summary from me.
This year’s edition was the first boat show in Europe after Covid lockdowns and it was very popular. The number of visitors equaled the number of visitors in the 2019 edition, which was a record.
The show was attended by a total of 575 exhibitors, 620 boats (including 141 world shows) and 54,400 visitors, half of the guests from abroad. And all this to admire the most beautiful motor, sailing, monohull and multihull boats again.
The two ports
Vieux Port was entirely dedicated to motor boats. 480 boats ranging in length from 3 to 50 meters were put up. There is also a novelty: a space reserved for fully electric or hybrid boats from brands such as Boote Marian, Candela Speed Boats, E-Sense of Blue, Ecoline, Say Carbon Yachts, Vita Yachts and X-Shore, as well as a marina for multihulls motorized.
On the other hand, sailboats moored in Port Canto – approx. 110 boats with a length of 10 to 35 meters, including 20 having their world premiere.
My types
The below three brands made a special impression on me. So, without further ado let me give you a really short description of each one of them.
X-treme Yachts
