Mr Luxury is testing Ferrari Roma!
Fast, beautiful, luxurious – this is the Ferrari Roma that I had the opportunity to test last week.
Exactly a year ago I wrote about this car on the blog. A few days ago, the Ferrari Roma – because we are talking about it – was finally tested by me. Here is my report from this test drive, preceded by a short information about the model.
Ferrari Roma: la dolce vita
The Ferrari Roma is stylistically inspired by cars from more than half a century ago, but don’t be fooled: this is an ultra-modern machine. This one of the smaller cars from the rearing horse is 4.65 meters long, less than 2 meters wide and only 1.3 meters high. For this only 1472 kg of weight. The designers kept great proportions: the long, slender bonnet and the massive “rump” bring to mind the Ferrari Daytona, for example.
Under the hood you will find a supercharged 3.9 liter V8 engine. The maximum torque is 760 Nm, and the power – as much as 620 horsepower. Thanks to this, Ferrari Roma reaches the “hundred” in 3.4 seconds, and 2 “packages” appear on the meter after 9.4 seconds. The maximum speed is 320 km / h.
Despite its super performance, Roma is not a track car. The car will be perfect for longer journeys, because the designers made sure that it was comfortable. It is a fast and comfortable toy for well-to-do people who love speed and luxury.
Leather, alcantara and a lot of sports accents inside make the car “the best of both worlds”. In addition, digital displays for the driver, a touch screen in the center console and a mini-display for the passenger.
Moje test impressions
In fact, I could describe the whole experience in one word: spectacular! It is an amazing car that I used to drive on winding roads and on the Warsaw ring road. Acceleration, performance, comfort – it is exactly as promised by the manufacturer.
The relatively small steering wheel fits perfectly in the hands and adapts perfectly to them, thanks to which the Roma drives perfectly. Anyway, you can see that the designers thought and comfort in every dimension – the interior is ergonomic and functional, and simply beautiful. Leather-covered armchairs are like your favorite sofa – fit and comfortable.
The softly suspended Roma can flow like large limousines, but switching to ESC-Off mode is a powerful adrenaline rush. In addition, the sound it makes when firing it causes shivers and shivers of excitement. And then it only gets better: the melody of that engine was like the most beautiful music to my ears.
My only complaint would be that, for a GT, there is not much room here… but it won’t be. The number and quality of the car’s advantages make the disadvantages negligible. It is a very elegant car that will work well not only on holidays, but also on a daily basis. It is also a versatile car that, despite its gentle silhouette, can show its extremely sharp claw.
