I have written about Wilanów and its advantages as a place to live several times before, but today, for the first time, I will have the pleasure of presenting you an amazing property located in the least known and not very populated part of this district. Specifically, I am referring to the area at the back of Arbuzowa Street, in the immediate vicinity of not only all of Wilanów’s attractions, but also right next to Skarpa Ursynowska Nature Reserve.
Arbuzowa neighbourhood: silence, calmness and nature
Arbuzowa Street stretches from Nowoursynowska to Wilanowska Avenue near the intersection with Sobieskiego Avenue and Rzeczypospolitej Avenue. It is one of those Warsaw streets that quite well remember the times when there were fields, wastelands and the remains of the Rozkosz palace-park complex, now owned by the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW).
In the 1980s, the surrounding area was tentatively built up with prefabricated buildings, which today form the “Arbuzowa” housing cooperative. However, it was not until the 1990s that detached houses and residences began to appear at the back of the estate, on the other side of Arbuzowa. The place seemed ideal – relatively close to the city centre, not far from the Wilanów estates, well connected with other parts of Warsaw, and at the same time offering peace, quiet and a bit of wild nature.

And it is here, at the back of Arbuzowa, on the border of Mokotów and Wilanów, specifically on Mieczykowa Street, that the residence in question is located.
