Brabus 900 Rocket Edition: the fastest SUV in the world
The Brabus 900 Rocket Edition is not so much the fastest SUV in the world, but simply a real automotive rocket!
Everyone expects incredible performance from supercars such as Ferrari, Lamborghini and Bugatti. It is a bit different in the case of SUVs, even the most luxurious ones – here the most important thing is comfort, space and excellent equipment. Or better said it was – everything changed a few days ago when the German tuner Brabus showed the world’s fastest SUV: the Brabus 900 Rocket Edition, the Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S 4Matic+ Coupe.
A beast untamed
The Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S 4Matic+ Coupe is a really powerful car: the 4-liter V8 biturbo unit generating 612 HP and 850 Nm made a huge impression on many automotive enthusiasts. Despite this, Brabus decided to go a step further and created a monster: its capacity increased to 4.5 l, power to 900 hp, and torque to cosmic 1250 Nm.
Such characteristics of the engine must translate into performance – the “Rocket” will fly up to 60 mph in 3.2 seconds, and the maximum speed of 330 km/h will be reached after approx. 23 seconds. However, to be able to reach the maximum speed, the Brabus 900 Rocket must have 23 -inch Brabus Monoblock “Platinum Edition” rims. Power is transferred to all wheels by a 9-speed automatic gearshift. Interestingly, this is not the last word of this car because the top speed has been electronically limited, which means that even more power can be obtained from the engine.
Devilish colours
The colors and appearance of the car have been perfectly matched to its character. The aggressive look is emphasized by the “Superior Gray” paintwork with blood red accents inside and out. There is also a lot of carbon fiber that just looks great. The only thing that I don’t necessarily like is the illuminated logo in the grill.
You will hardly find peace inside – the number of red elements is not conducive to calming down, on the contrary, it stimulates and energizes. Which should not be surprising, because it is not a car for quiet driving, but for dynamic swallowing of kilometers and turns. Black leather upholstery is, as usual, great design and top quality.
Brabus informs that it will create only 25 copies of this monster for a price of over 380,000 euro each. I don’t know about you, but I would definitely want one!
