Apartment in the clouds, or living on the 38th floor of the Cosmopolitan
I really enjoy showing my clients apartments located in the Cosmpolitan building. The luxurious high-rise has 44 floors and is 160 m tall and is one of the most interesting and good-looking residential towers in Warsaw. The location is excellent – right in the centre of Warsaw, directly adjacent to the historic Grzybowski Square and a number of parks such as the Saski Park and Świętokrzyski Park. The Złote Tarasy shopping mall and Warsaw Central station are all within walking distance. Other perks of this prime location include the many restaurants, bars, cafés and stores as well as theatres and cinemas found in the vicinities.
The architecture
The building was designed by world-class architect Helmut Jahn of the Murphy/Jahn studio. Jahn has also designed such renowned buildings as the Sony Center in Berlin and the headquarters of the European Union in Brussels. Jahn was awarded the Architecture Award of the Mayor of Warsaw for the Cosmpolitan.
The Cosmopolitan consists of two parts: the lower part closer to Grzybowski Square and the taller part i.e. the 160-m tower. There are approx. 300 parking spaces on the underground levels of the building, floors one to four are occupied by offices and service outlets and from floor 8 upwards, there are luxury apartments sized 54 to 700 m², fully finished and furnished. The last two floors house two-level apartments.
Amenities and concierge services
The residents of the building can avail themselves of a number of additional services. The concierge and security service will help them book a table in a restaurant, tickets to the cinema or theatre. The Cosmopolitan also houses a relaxation zone open to residents only featuring a gym, club, saunas, whirlpool baths, fitness room and a patio decorated with a moving art installation with trendy restaurants and cafes on the ground floor.
The apartament
The property that Crystal House is offering exclusively is located on the 38th floor of the Cosmopolitan and is almost 165 m2large. The glazed interior walls and a north-eastern orientation warrant just the right amount of light inside. The apartments consists of a living room with a kitchenette, a master bedroom with a walk-in closet and bathing room, two bedrooms, a bathroom and toilet.
The apartment is finished to the top standard in a style that I am very fond of – prevailing cosy minimalism. Oak floors, marble in the bathrooms, state-of-the-art appliances and radio and TV equipment, high-end tiles and ceramic ware, a walk-in closed with shelves, washing room, and roller blinds as well as air-conditioned rooms are just some of the merits of this luxurious apartment.
