A beautiful residence in Górny Mokotów
There are places in Warsaw where low residential buildings are predominant. Mokotów is one of those places and today I would like to show you a residence that is located in a very beautiful spot.
Warsaw district of Górny Mokotów is one of the most prestigious parts of the city together with Oficerski Żoliborz and the old Saska Kępa. That’s why I am really glad every time a property located there is sold through my company Crystal House. Low residential building are predominant here and many of them were built back in the thirties. There are also many parks and commons as well as shops, cinemas, theatres and sports facilities. It is also worth mentioning that Mokotów is directly adjacent to the city centre which means one can reach uptown on foot in less than 20 minutes.
For all the above mentioned reasons it should not come as a surprise that properties in Górny Mokotów are between the most expensive in Warsaw: on average a square metre costs over 13 000 zlotys (and I am talking about a block of flats, not detached houses where prices are much higher). In Stary Mokotów a 1 000 square metres plot of land is worth about 7-8 million zlotys, whereas detached houses start from 10 millions! It is therefore a district for the wealthiest of people and houses for sale are in demand.
One of the most charming parts of Górny Mokotów is Ksawerów. The name of this area is linked to Ksawery Pusłowski who was the owner of this land back in 19th century. The residents have access to attractions such as Arkadia Park or Królikarnia Park, Galeria Mokotów shopping centre and many other recreational facilities. The best nurseries, preschools and schools are here. And here’s another interesting fact: in Ksawerów you will find the residence of the Ambassador of the United States.
It is worth noting that just off the Vistula escarpment, between Idzikowskiego St. and Wilanowska Avenue, you will come across typical rural buildings. This area used to be Szopy Polskie village and the countryside climate there has nothing to do with that of urban Górny Mokotów.
A residence in Ksawerów
But let’s go back up the escarpment. Here, on a quiet and secluded street there is a property that I would like to show you today. It’s a very luxurious detached house with an area of 760 square metres and a beautiful garden. It is surrounded by similar detached houses.
