Luxury weekend house an hour away from Warsaw
Most of us love staying close to water. Its proximity means you can rest and relax, it soothes the nerves and allows you to practice water sports. Unfortunately, the distance between Warsaw and the closest large water reservoir is quite large – the closest lakes of Warmia and Mazuria are at some 200 km away and the coast of the Baltic Sea is 300 km away from Warsaw.
Luckily, there are rivers and there is a host of them in the vicinities of the capital. The Vistula, Bug or Narew are broad waterways on the banks of which you can build your permanent or summer home. Today, I want to show you a property that has recently been listed in my company Crystal House.
Location
The property is located right on the bank of the Narew river, in Lubienica. The picturesque village is situated along the DK61 road to Pułtusk. The huge plot spanning an area of 18,000 m2has direct access to the riverbank, promenade and pier. It takes just under an hour to get there by car from Warsaw – Lubienica is approx. 50 km away from the capital. In addition, the new owner is bound to fall in love with the views from the windows and the three large terraces – the undulating Mazovian landscapes and the closeness to water really let you rest and relax. Most importantly, the property can also be reached via waterways from Warsaw.
The house
The house erected on the plot is a luxurious and modern residence. It spans an area of nearly 450 m2 and works perfectly as both a weekend or summer house and an all-year family home. It is finished to a very high standardand requires no investments – you can move in straight away and live there comfortably from day one.
The one-storey house is divided into the official and the private zones which are clearly separated. On the ground floor there is a spacious living room with a dining room and open-plan kitchen, a large office that can be turned into a bedroom, a guest bedroom, a bathroom, walk-in closet and a storage room as well as an enormous terrace. On the first floor there is a 50-m master bedroom with a glazed wall, a bathroom, a Finnish sauna and a walk-in closet, the second bedroom with a bathroom and walk-in closet, another office, entresol and terrace.
Architecture and furnishings
What makes the house stand out is the evergreen and at the same time modern architecture that blends perfectly with the surroundings. A fair coloured façade makes the building look extremely light. The interiors are decorated in an artistic, yet minimalistic style and the house is very bright owing to the large windows. The black furniture and grey and graphite finishing pair well together and the monochromatic colour scheme is juxtaposed with colourful contemporary paintings.
