Although I am a man, I do use something extra than just soap and water in the bathroom 😉
I remember the times when the macho man would only use soap and water and aftershave on special occasions. The offering of men’s cosmetics is growing each year. We, men, can finally pick the right product for our skin type, age or part of the body. And there is nothing effeminate about it. Their presence in the cosmetics has highly beneficial effects on the skin – it nourishes and moisturizes it. Vegans will be pleased to hear that Dolomiti cosmetics do not contain any animal products.
My opinion? The cream is light and is absorbed quickly. It leaves the skin fresh and hydrated. The eau has a pleasant male scent that stays from a long time. The serum hydrates the skin leaving it relaxed and smooth.

The next brand whose products have earned a prominent spot in my bathroom cabinet are Oil Balance Pro Moisturiser, Strengthening Skin Serum and Skin Definition Facial Scrub.
Proverb is a British men’s beauty brand addressed to those who care about their looks and wellbeing. The brand offering includes cosmetics but also a training programme comprising body care products, dietary supplements and expert advice. The cosmetics are made from natural ingredients and are dermatologically tested. They hold an E-mark certificate.
My opinion? A pleasant texture and beautiful scent complement the beneficial properties of these products. After use the skin is soft and well hydrated.
Gentlemen’s Tonic
Finally, the last group of the products I tested, namely Hero Peptide Serum, Time Control Solution – Serum and Exfoliating facial scrub.
The serum is a very popular product on the beauty market today. It is a special concentrated cosmetic offering stronger effects. The products by Gentlemen’s Tonic, a luxury brand for the contemporary man are just that. The brand’s name is telling of who the brand is addressed to and how its products work. Their products have strong regeneration properties.
My opinion?A classic men’s fragrance of the cosmetics is something that I really enjoyed. As regards the cosmetic properties – it does exactly what is says on the tin. The products leave the skin refreshed and regenerated.
