Luxury villa in Tuscany’s Cortona

I have to tell you something: my most recent Italian getaway was part pleasure part business. I went to Tuscany also to take over an exceptional villa in Cortona that will be available for sale through us. This blog post will be devoted to this beautiful property.

Let me just remind you that this breath-taking Tuscan town is famous for one of the richest collection of Etruscan artefacts in the world. The villa, recently added to the list of available properties offered by my company Crystal House,is located in Cortona. The property is situated on a hillside overlooking the Valdichiana valley, on the charming Via Santa Maria Nuova street and its appearance and surroundings are truly awe-inspiring.

The property consists of a stylish stone house and 8 ha of land, a 1.5 ha vineyard and a 1 ha grape plantation. It is surrounded by orchards and olive groves. The town centre is relatively close to the house but its unique location guarantees peace and quiet. In the mornings, you can wake up to the singing of birds and at night the sound of the cicadas will rock you to sleep. There is also a pond full of fish on the property, as well as olive oil manufacturing devices and a vineyard equipped with wine-making machinery. The entire property is monitored and fitted with a security alarm system.

The house has three levels on which there are 4 living rooms, an American-style kitchen, a cocktail room, a studio, 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The total area is roughly 600 sq. m. All rooms are air-conditioned and heated (oil heater).

There is also a separate guest cabin with a living room, kitchen and bathroom situated on the premises. Other structures include a 12-metre chapel, a wine cellar, an outside barbecue area and a roofed garage.
