The first HondaJet in Central Europe will fly for Jet Story!
Some time ago I wrote about the most interesting small jets of 2017 and now one of them – namely HondaJet – has been purchased by Jet Story, a Polish private jets operator.
I love flying and I am interested in all aviation and airplanes topics. A few months ago, when I wrote a short post about the three most interesting small jet planes, I was wondering which one of them would be the first to appear on our Polish sky. My answer has just arrived: as of April 12, a HondaJet (you can read more about this plane here) will joint the fleet of Jet Story, a private jet operator.
HondaJet is a plane inspired by the Ferragamo high-heeled shoes. It was designed by Michimasa Fujino, CEO of Honda Aircraft Company. This extremely light aircraft can take as many as five passengers on board. In 2017 it was the most ordered aircraft in its category; it has also beaten thirteen speed records.
HondaJet may be small in size, but it’s big in terms of advanced technology that serves the aircraft. It is also one of the fastest small jets with maximum speed of 483 mph. Carrying five passengers and a pilot on board its range can be as long as 2,200 km! Of course, the lighter the plane, the longer the flight route. The HF120 engine was designed by an international team in cooperation with engineers from the Polish GE branch in Warsaw.
HondaJet is not only fast but also ecological – it uses as little as 0.41 kilogram of fuel per one kilometer which places it among leaders when it comes to low fuel consumption. It emits less nitrogen dioxide than any other light aircraft. It is also very comfortable for the passenger who has a cozy armchair and a relatively ample bathroom at his or her disposal. The pilot should not complain either – this machine is equipped with state-of-the-art avionics and latest technologies making the operation of the aircraft easier and more pleasant.
The aircraft is available as charter for customers from Poland, continental Europe, Russia, Scandinavia and Great Britain. HondaJet is a part of the Jet Story fleet, the largest private jet operator in Central and Eastern Europe. Jet Story operates a fleet of 17 Gulfstream, Bombardier, Embraer and Cessna aircrafts.
