Z wizytą na pokazie Łukasza Jemioła
As you may know, I am a man who attaches great importance to his appearance. I think that well-chosen clothing can express personality and tells a lot about the person wearing it. That’s why I’m interested in news from the fashion world and share my inspirations with you. This time I would like to devote a few words to the Polish designer Łukasz Jemioł. On March 8 I had the opportunity to take part in his spring collection fashion show.
Łukasz Jemioł is one of the top Polish fashion designers. For a long time, I have been following his career and projects with interest. Clothes that have a tag with his name on them are the embodiment of his minimalist style and characteristic simplicity. Outfits created by Jemioł are often chosen by celebrities such restaurateur Magda Gessler, model and activist Anja Rubik, actress Małgorzata Kożuchowska or journalist Agnieszka Hyży.
The date of the presentation of the last collection – the International Women’s Day – was not accidental, since it was entirely dedicated to women.
As a man, I do not know much about ladies fashion, but I must admit that I liked this new collection. Łukasz Jemioł’s designs emphasized the femininity of models that presented them. The show itself, directed by Kasia Sokołowska, created a unique atmosphere thanks to the use of music, image and lights. A pleasant surprise was the presence of Lidia Popiel among models. The event took place at the “Praska Drukarnia” in Warsaw.
Of course, after returning home, I immediately looked out Łukasz Jemioł’s shop website, but this time I focused on men’s clothing. I will definitely buy something pretty soon.
